This limited edition hardcover photobook is the result of an ongoing collaboration between Sean Fennessy and Jessica Lillico and presents a series of images documenting the enduring tension between nature and suburbia in Los Angeles.

Shot primarily on 35mm film, the intention was innate observation rather than formal technique. By walking the streets of suburban Los Angeles, Sean and Jessica encountered a city not of endless concrete, nor palm lined boulevards, but rather one of distinctive gardens defined by their resilience to the relentless, bleaching sun and ever encroaching desert.
